CASE STUDIES - A FACE FOR EUROPE
Their Communication Need
PlasticsEurope is a European Association that generates information on the European polymer industry and promotes plastics' positive contribution to society.
The Business Communication Solution
The basic was idea was to leverage the arrival of the new European Commission by organising a charity event. The world's most renowned LEGO artist (Dirk
Denoyelle), built 3D busts and mosaics of the news European Commissioners and the president of the European Parliament. Every MEP was sent a LEGO figurine to put
on a LEGO structure built by children from all 25 Member Statest. Each figurine placed by an MEP resulted in a donation by PlasticsEurope to two charity. The
placement of the figures and the presentation of the 3D busts were made during an event near the European Parliament The entire project, from idea to details of
implementation, was run by Morris & Chapman in conjunction with PlasticsEurope and Blueprint Partners.
