CASE STUDIES - BRITISH SCHOOL OF BRUSSELS
Their Communication Need
The British School of Brussels (BSB) is an international school based in Brussels, Belgium for children from ages 3 to 18. While following England's school
curriculum, the school is open to students of all backgrounds. The majority of its students are from families that have been transferred to Brussels for
professional reasons.
School administration always knew that when families are considering accepting a transfer, a major priority is children's education. It was only with
experiences and feedback about their first website that they realised how important a website is to this decision making process. To this end, the school
wanted to ensure that the website clearly reflect the main interesting features of the school to the world.
The Business Communication Solution
Morris & Chapman were selected to develop a site that visually represented the school; and more importantly help the administration organise overlapping and
potentially complex information in a way that would be easy for parents and children to understand.
Results
"Morris & Chapman worked with BSB administration to develop a data model that clearly explained the curriculum, extracurricular and the facilities themselves. Where
required, M&C also helped develop the content.
The site itself has proven to be very useful to BSB, with a majority of new families surveyed saying it was a key point in their decision making process.
Majority of new families use site a key part of decision making
