Their Communication Need
The European Centre for Ecotoxicology and Toxicology of Chemicals (ECETOC) is well known within certain circles but had been suffering the same fate as many scientific organizations that provide specialised scientific information. People had an idea they existed but their work, and the reason behind it, was not always well known.

ECETOC knew they had very valuable information and understandably wanted to contribute more to toxicology debates. They contacted a roster of agencies to ask them to pitch their ideas for an event.

Morris & Chapman's proposal was selected as the most effective.

The Business Communication Solution
Morris & Chapman proposed a solution based upon their tried and tested event promotion and management techniques, with an ECETOC twist, to attract a substantial number of high level attendees. In this case, a high quality event, with attention grabbing invitations to the Natural Science Museum (right next to the European Parliament) was proposed..

Results
The event attracted many 'high level' actors and embedded the name and mission of ECETOC in the minds of the attendees. Those that couldn't attend knew about the association from the invitations, follow up telephone calls and general 'buzz' / word of mouth.
