CASE STUDIES - EPBA
Their Communication Need
The European Portable Batteries Association was faced with amendments in the
Environment Committee of the European Parliament that would lead to ban of
many of their products. EPBA needed to communicate the importance of
portable batteries in our daily lives to the members of this committee.
The Communication Solution
In collaboration with Burson Marsteller, Morris & Chapman developed a
cartoon illustrating what would happen if the amendments were adopted . The
cartoon showed a day in the life on an MEP without portable batteries.
Morris & Chapman drew up a story board and mustered a team of well known
Belgian cartoonists and assistants in a record time. The whole process from
briefing to final printed product and delivery in Strasburg took less than 4
days to meet a crtical deadline in the EP !
The cartoon turned out to be great advocacy tool and was very received.
