Video is a very powerful communication tool and seamless online integration now allows large-scale dissemination of video material at very low cost.
At Morris & Chapman, we offer a broad range of video services:
- Reportage videography
- Concept development
- Filming services
- Editing and post-production
- Animation and special effects
- Online integration and dissemination
- DVD mastering
- DVD production
Our fully integrated digital approach enables us to be flexible and deliver results on budget and on schedule.
But we don’t see video production as a stand-alone service. Our video services are an intrinsic part of our wider service offerings, which means that a design or communication concept can ‘travel’ from a print publication to a video, while wholly retaining its look and feel. Moreover, video can be seamlessly integrated into our client websites using advanced compression codecs able to generate good-quality images at very fast loading times.
Whether to capture your conference on video, produce a corporate video, develop an interactive DVD or conduct a viral campaign, we’ve got it covered.

YouTube revolution
YouTube is a video sharing website that allows users to upload, view and share video clips. Before its launch in 2005, there were few simple methods available for ordinary computer users to post videos online. With its easy-to-use interface, YouTube made it possible for anyone able to use a computer to post a video that millions of people could tune into within minutes. The wide range of topics covered by YouTube has turned video sharing into one of the most important aspects of Internet culture.
YouTube's video playback technology for web users is based on the Adobe Flash Player. It allows the site to show videos of comparable quality to more established video playback technologies (such as Windows Media Player, QuickTime and RealPlayer) that generally require users to download and install a web browser plug-in.Viewing Flash videos also requires a plug-in, but market research by Adobe Systems has revealed that its Flash plug-in is installed in over 99% of personal computers.
One of the key features of YouTube is the ability to view its videos on web pages outside the site. Each YouTube video is accompanied by a piece of HTML, which can be used to embed it in a page outside the YouTube website. This function is often used to embed YouTube videos in social networking pages and blogs.
YouTube allows your video content to be disseminated to a wide audience at no extra cost. If properly tagged and referenced, your video will come up in the search results and create considerable visibility for your organisation or product.
