A new online home for BusinessEurope
Getting down to Business
The challenge
Businesseurope sought to modernise and consolidate its digital presence with a website that reflected the organisation’s authority as the largest network of European business federations. The existing site suffered from outdated design, inconsistent navigation and a lack of clarity in content hierarchy, which made it difficult for policymakers, members and external stakeholders to find key positions, publications and advocacy work quickly. The brief required a platform that could support a growing volume of multilingual content, elevate the brand visually and improve engagement without disrupting ongoing communications activities.
What we did
We led the design and development of a fully responsive website built on a modern CMS, starting with a strategic audit of existing content and user behaviour to inform an intuitive information architecture. Our team crafted a clean, professional visual language that aligned with Businesseurope’s brand identity and prioritised accessibility and usability across audiences. We introduced clear pathways for policy areas, events and news, implemented robust search and tagging systems, and integrated seamless multilingual support. Throughout development we ensured performance optimisation and compliance with digital accessibility standards to maximise reach and impact.
Results
The new Businesseurope website delivered a significant uplift in user engagement and satisfaction, with stakeholders reporting faster access to policy positions and resources. Enhanced navigation and clearer content presentation increased page views per session and reduced bounce rates, while the scalable CMS made it easier for the internal team to publish and manage content across languages. The refreshed digital presence strengthened Businesseurope’s brand authority online, supporting its role in European policy dialogues and improving visibility among members, partners and decision-makers.
