Multi-city conference
Local opinions, European perspective
The challenge
Deliver a single, coherent AI policy event across four countries (Malta, Denmark, Spain and Italy) while preserving local relevance and enabling meaningful cross-border dialogue. The format needed to accommodate in-person debates with local stakeholders in each city, connect those debates live at key moments, and ensure full accessibility through simultaneous interpretation and high-quality streaming. All of this had to run seamlessly, in real time, across different venues, languages and technical environments.
What we did
Morris & Chapman designed and produced a fully integrated, multi-city event format combining local conferences with a shared digital backbone. We coordinated venues, technical setups and run-of-show across all four locations, enabling live cross-city connections at curated moments in the programme. Our team managed simultaneous interpretation, live streaming and platform integration, ensuring speakers and audiences could interact smoothly across borders. We also aligned content frameworks and moderation to balance local discussion with pan-European AI policy themes.
Results
The project delivered a genuinely European AI dialogue, combining the depth of local debate with the reach and impact of a connected international event. Audiences in all four cities engaged both on site and online, with high-quality streams and interpretation making the discussions accessible well beyond the rooms themselves. The format proved the value of hybrid, multi-location events as a scalable model for future policy engagement, enabling richer conversations without losing local nuance.
