Getting up close and personal with your representatives
The challenge
The work of the European Parliament shapes the lives of every European, yet many citizens know very little about their Members of the European Parliament (MEPs). The challenge was to bridge this gap, making MEPs more accessible and fostering a stronger connection between representatives and voters.
What we did
We produced a comprehensive series of interviews with over 100 MEPs, combining policy-focused questions with more personal, human-interest topics. Each interview was carefully edited into engaging videos that allowed citizens to truly ‘meet’ their MEPs. In parallel, we created tailored video content for each National Delegation.
Results
The videos successfully brought MEPs closer to citizens, offering a more relatable and transparent view of their work and personalities. They have been widely used across multiple platforms, including social media, increasing engagement and awareness of the European Parliament’s role in everyday life.
